The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine is pleased to announce a new consensus study being conducted as part of a White House initiative aimed at Modernizing the Regulatory System for Biotechnology Products. This study is being sponsored by the US Environmental Protection Agency, Food and Drug Administration, and Department of Agriculture and will focus on "Future Biotechnology Products and Opportunities to Enhance Capabilities of the Biotechnology Regulatory System." The Academies is seeking nominations for members of the study committee. Additional details, including the charge to the committee, can be found on the nomination page.
