The deadline for letters of intent for the Gulf Research Program's award year 
2016 exploratory grants funding

approaching (February 17 at 5pm ET). A letter of intent is required for this 
opportunity, which is designed to support innovative research projects that 
seek to break new ground one of the following two topics:

1.      Scenario planning to advance safety culture and minimize risk in 
offshore oil and gas operations

2.      Informing coastal community planning and response to environmental 
change in regions with offshore oil and gas operations

Gulf Research Program's conference booth in the Grand Ballroom Foyer at the 
Tampa Marriott Waterside.
