Our CSIRO China Scholarship Council (CSC) program offers PhDs and scholars from China the opportunity of collaborating with our scientists. Under this program I have one project sponsored for one person to work with me and my colleagues @ CSIRO (Brisbane, Australia) in relation with forestry, forest ecology and restoration/plantation for biodiversity and ecosystem services. Applications open this month (January) for scholars and March for PhDs. See the the link below for more details (project #7 page 8 of the file: "Testing, improving and using a forest biodiversity-ecosystem services model using Chinese forest plantations dataset").
The scholarship covers international airfares and living allowances for 3-12 months. This “scholar” category is for Chinese (not including Hong Kong and Taiwan) researchers who are below the age of 50, have completed a masters (with at least 2 years of work experience) or have a PhD. Please contact me if you are interested and spread the information widely to potentially interested labs. Because final selection of PhDs students and 25 Scholars is managed by CSC, so please visit the CSC website for more details on requirements and eligibility before sending me your CV by email: jean- [email protected] follow this link to see details of offer: https://plus.google.com/u/0/collection/88LeW
