Required Qualifications: -Earned doctorate from an accredited institution -Established record of sustained peer-reviewed scholarship -Sustained record serving as principal investigator of competitive, federally funded research within an academic environment -Established record of research program oversight with supervision and mentoring -Record of effective leadership, management, and organizational skills -Experience with interdisciplinary grant development Preferred Qualifications: -Commitment to diversity in research, leadership, and recruitment and retention from diverse and multicultural backgrounds -Experience in developing multi-institutional research programs -Understanding of intellectual property and/or industry-sponsored research -Experience cultivating federal, state, and local relations -Experience serving on national grant review panels -Established relationships with program officers and administrators of major funding agencies -Experience in funding mechanisms for research infrastructure development -Knowledge of grant proposal development in a broad range of disciplines Application Procedures: Review of credentials will begin February 15, 2016 and will continue until the position is filled.
