I am pleased to announce that Mohonk Preserve is now accepting applications for our 2016 Loewy Fellowship program. Up to $10,000 in funding is available for research at Mohonk Preserve, and researchers at any career stage are encouraged to apply. Mohonk Preserve protects over 8000 acres of New York’s Shawangunk Ridge and Foothills and is home to many diverse ecological communities. The Preserve’s Daniel Smiley Research Center houses extensive records including long-term weather data, as well as decades-old limnology, phenology, and biodiversity datasets that are available for use. Housing is available at the Preserve’s Foothills House. This fellowship opportunity is made possible via partnership with the Loewy Family Foundation.
