ASC Group, Inc., a full-service environmental consulting company has an immediate opening in our Indianapolis, IN office for an Ecologist. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in ecology, biology, or environmental science and 2-3 years of experience. Candidate should have experience in wetland delineation, wetland and stream quality assessments, and endangered species habitat assessments. Good communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to work as a team member are important.
Tasks include field survey, report preparation, client relations, proposal preparation, and other tasks as assigned. Travel to field sites in Indiana and surrounding states is expected. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Wetland delineations using Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual, (with applicable Regional Supplements) and the Classification of Wetlands and Deepwater Habitats of the United States by Lewis M. Cowardin, Virginia Carter, Francis C. Golet, and Edward T.
