Stockton University is seeking to fill a tenure track position, at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the area of Marine Science with a specialization in Marine Invertebrate Biology / Ecology for September 2016. The candidate should be qualified to teach Introduction to Marine Biology, Invertebrate Zoology, Ecology, and upper level Marine Science courses. Teaching load is 12 hours each semester and could consist of lecture and lab sections, as well as course offerings in the University’s General Studies “commons.”

Qualifications PhD is required for appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor. Excellent teaching and scholarship is expected. Postdoctoral experience in Marine Biology / Ecology is a plus; research interests might include, but are not limited to, marine and estuarine invertebrates. Interests in marine survey methods, remote sensing and/or marine technology are also desirable. Academic experience with culturally diverse populations desired.
