Assistant Professor of Biology – Ecology Position Summary: The Department of Biology at Southern Utah University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to begin in August 2016. We seek an ecologist, with preference given to candidates with a background in vertebrate biology, especially ornithology or ichthyology. Successful candidates must demonstrate dedication to undergraduate education and the ability to develop a research program involving undergraduate students. The teaching load will include general ecology and its associated laboratory, introductory biology lectures and laboratories, and vertebrate biology courses such as ornithology and/or ichthyology.
