I wanted remind you of the upcoming deadline for the graduate level Field Ecology course this winter in Costa Rica. The deadline is October 10. Below are the course details and description. Field Ecology: Skills for Science and beyond is an intensive, four-week course that will challenge you in every way. At its heart lie the highly regarded OTS "field problems", which engage students in the fast-paced formulation of research questions, experimental design, data collection, analysis, and oral and written presentations. Program Details Where: OTS Stations in Costa Rica (La Selva, Las Cruces, & Palo Verde) and Cuerici When: Dec 28, 2015 - Jan 23, 2016 Cost: $2,100 OTS members; $6,100 Non-OTS members. Costs include: all room and board, all transportation during the course, equipment, and instruction. Not included are airfare or personal expenses. Some partial scholarships available.
