Deadline for full consideration: 9 October 2015 The Department of Biology (http://biology.louisiana.edu) of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to complement our strengths in marine and coastal biology. The area of research specialty is open; however, we are especially interested in candidates with expertise in invertebrate zoology/ecology or climate change biology.
Minimum qualifications are a Ph.D. in a relevant field and postdoctoral experience. Successful applicants will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally-funded research program, provide instruction to undergraduates and participate in our Ph.D. program in Environmental and Evolutionary Biology.
