Hi all, Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment’s Natural History Notes series was launched in March 2015, and we’ve received great feedback from the ecological community since then. Each article in the series pairs a fascinating natural history picture (all species welcome) with a 1200- word text discussing the picture’s relevance – why the subject is novel or ecologically significant, the subject’s importance to the author’s research, etc. Check out two of the articles in the series at http://bit.ly/1B8tZfd and http://bit.ly/1QSZc7D.
We’re still welcoming submissions for the series – if you would like to submit an article, read our guidelines and instructions here: http://www.frontiersinecology.org/fron/naturalhistorynotes. We’d love to hear your story! Thanks, Patrick Monahan Editorial Assistant Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment [email protected]
