The State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is currently accepting proposals for contracted services to monitor the implementation of Minnesota Site-Level Forest Management Guidelines. This monitoring contract will consist primarily of field data collection on approximately 100 timber harvests sites in Minnesota. Monitoring these sites requires knowledge of forestry and forest management as well as wetland identification. The guidelines to be monitored can be found in the timber harvest, roads, and general guidelines sections of Sustaining Minnesota Forest Resources: Voluntary Site-Level Forest Management Guidelines for landowners, Loggers and Resource Managers.
The deadline for submitting proposals is May 20, 2015, at 2:00PM.
