Announcement of Opportunity for Synthesis Activities in Earth System Science
The John Wesley Powell Center for Earth System Science Analysis and Synthesis fosters innovative thinking in Earth system science through collaborative synthesis activities. We invite interdisciplinary Working Groups comprised of USGS researchers and their national and international colleagues in academia and government to submit proposals. Working Groups collaborate to promote understanding through analysis of existing data and information. Groups that submit successful proposals will receive computing and data management support, funding for a Fellow, opportunities for meetings in Fort Collins, CO, and between-meeting collaborative tools. Proposals are invited for projects that will begin on or after October 1, 2015.
