A new TT position at Kutztown Unversity is available in the Biology 
Department: 

Tenure Track Position in Plant Pathology

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 10,000 
students in graduate and undergraduate programs. The University is 
located in the borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting, and is 
within 20 minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas 
Allentown/Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the 
Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University is very interested in 
hiring employees who have had extensive experience with diverse 
populations.

The Department of Biology at Kutztown University invites applications 
for a tenure-track position in Plant Pathology beginning Fall 2015.  
Required: Ph.D. in Biology or related field (completed before the 
contract is signed).  The successful candidate will have broad training 
as a plant pathologist with expertise in mycology, and a commitment to 
undergraduate education and research.  Preference will be given to an 
individual who could teach botany, mycology, and other courses that meet 
the needs of the Biology Department and the Environmental Science 
Program.  The applicant's areas of expertise should complement those of 
the biology faculty.  Three years of college-level teaching experience 
or equivalent required.  Successful interview and demonstration of 
relevant ability required.  Salary competitive.  Tenure-track faculty 
are expected to show excellence in teaching, continued scholarly growth, 
and service to the department and university.  Send letter of

(official transcripts will be necessary before hiring), brief statements 
of teaching philosophy and research interests, including ways in which 
undergraduates could be involved in the research, and three current
