AAAS On-call Scientists: Calls for Volunteers Human rights organizations are seeking environmental scientists to support community initiated research on the impacts of mining on indigenous peoples in Southeast Asia. Concerns include impacts to biodiversity, river pollution, soil contamination, agroecology, deforestation, social impacts, and public health.
