Hello Fellow ECOLOG-Listers,

I am looking for Masters programs in Ecological Restoration/Restoration
Ecology around the US. I have found very few programs, and most programs
only have one or two courses directly related to restoration ecology.

Most programs I am finding are actually not MS Restoration Ecology, but
rather Botany programs with restoration emphasis, or the like, with only an
emphasis or concentration on restoration. But even this are proving to me
hard to find via the internet.

My undergraduate degree is a B.S. Environmental Geography, but since then,
I have done work with riparian salmon habitat restoration, wetland
restoration, with some emphasis on exotic/invasive species management and
water quality.

I understand that the field of restoration ecology is still growing and is
relatively small, so if anyone has any suggestions for maturing Restoration
Ecology programs that may be gaining a reputation, or even just programs
that will give a concentration on restoration, that would also be
wonderful.

Any information on programs with assistantship possibilities would be
tremendously helpful as well.

Any help or recommendations is appreciated. Feel free to just respond to my
personal email below, as to save others the fuss of looking at extra eco-
log responses.
