Dear All,
Currently i am seeking help for the data analysis of the river systems that
i collected during cetacean survey in Nepal's major river systems.
I have collected habitat information, on 300m interval and the place where
dolphin sighted in three river systems during pre and post monsoon period.
Could you please recommend me appropriate statistical methods to answer
following:
1. Factors affecting dolphin abundance and presence? ( Independent
variables includes: time, long/lat, habitat types (categorical), depth,
width, water flow etc. Dependent variables: for abundance: group size and
for presence: binomial
2. How the river characteristics (depth, width; depth and width of habitat
types between river systems) varies in between three river systems during
pre and post monsoon
3. Is the depth and width of the river system fragmented significantly?
Hearing support from statistician.
With regards,
shambhu
