Project Manager
Cardno ATC is a national engineering/consulting firm that specializes
in environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and
construction materials testing and inspection services. Cardno ATC is
recognized as one of the nation's leading practitioners of
Environmental Consulting, Engineering and Testing.
Cardno ATC is currently seeking full time Project Manager in our
Columbia, MD office.
Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:
> Perform asbestos job site monitoring, environmental site
inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint (LBP), and/or microbial
issues, and other environmental duties, as needed
> Attend site walks and pre-bid meetings as assigned
> Prepare proposals as needed
> Review and edit technical reports from internal staff members
> Develop solutions for, and have technical conversations with
clients as assigned
> Assist with all Building Sciences/Environmental Management
projects: report writing and data entry
> Must provide stellar customer service to clients, including
performing site walks, timely proposal development and interfacing
with clients to discuss technical issues and resolutions.
Minimum qualifications:
> AA, or BA/BS in Environmental Science or related field preferred
but not required
> Five (5) to seven (7) years of related, verifiable experience
required in the asbestos, lead, mold and/or IAO field
> One (1) to two (2) years of report preparation/review, proposal
development and client interaction/service.
> At least one of the following certifications is preferred: EPA
Certified Asbestos Inspector; EPA Certified Lead Inspector; EPA
Certified Asbestos Project Monitor; NIOSH 582; OSHA 40 Hr Hazwoper
> Must possess strong communications skills and technical report
writing skills.
> Candidate should also possess report writing skills to include
compilation of quantitative and qualitative data, comparison of
findings to industrial standards and guidelines
> Should be able to handle multiple assignments
