1. Faculty Fellow in Marine Conservation and Policy

The Environmental Studies Program at Colby College invites applications for
a one-year sabbatical replacement position in Marine Conservation and
Policy to begin September 1, 2014.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in
marine policy, marine science, environmental studies, or a related field as
well as a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Specific areas of
interest include, but are not limited to marine or fisheries conservation
and marine environmental policy. Teaching responsibilities will include
four courses taught at the introductory- and intermediate-levels.

Interested candidates should have three letters of reference submitted
electronically to [email protected], and provide the following
materials as PDFs: a letter of application, curriculum vitae, statement of
teaching and research interests, reprints of three selected publications,
and graduate transcripts. Electronic submission of applications is
required, and receipt will be confirmed.
2. Faculty Fellow in International Environmental Policy

The Environmental Studies Program at Colby College invites applications for

Policy to begin September 1, 2014. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in
environmental studies, environmental policy or a related field as well as a
strong commitment to undergraduate education. Teaching responsibilities
will include four courses taught at the introductory- and
intermediate-levels. Specific areas of interest include, but are not
limited to, international environmental policy, energy policy,
conservation, environmental negotiation, and food policy.

Interested candidates should have three letters of reference submitted
electronically to [email protected], and provide the following
materials as PDFs: a letter of application, curriculum vitae, statement of
teaching and research interests, reprints of three selected publications,
and graduate transcripts. Electronic submission of applications is
required, and receipt will be confirmed.

Application review for both positions will begin January 3, 2014, and will
continue until the position is filled. Full consideration will be given to
candidates whose materials are received prior to January 3, 2014.
