Virginia Tech is now accepting applications from qualified candidates for a 
graduate assistantship in urban forestry at the M.S. or Ph.D. level.

The assistantship is made possible through a partnership between Casey 
Trees<http://caseytrees.org/>, Davey Resource 
Group<http://www.davey.com/services/davey-resource-group/>, and Virginia Tech's
Dept. of Forest Resources and Environmental Conservation<http://frec.vt.edu/>.

The assistantship will commence in August 2014 and offers a multi-year, 
12-month stipend as well as full tuition.

Application deadline is March 15, 2014.
