*3 Postdocs available: Cognitive Neuroscience, Risk Modeling, Computer
Security and Behavior*

Three postdoctoral positions are available for an interdisciplinary
research project at Indiana University, Bloomington in the laboratories of
Bennett I. Bertenthal (http://www.indiana.edu/~dcnlab/index.html), L. Jean
Camp (http://www.soic.indiana.edu/people/profiles/camp-jean.shtml ) and Diane
Henshel (http://www.indiana.edu/~spea/faculty/henshel-dianes%20.shtml). The
fellows will be conducting research on a set of interrelated projects
investigating the links between visual attention, decision making,
human-computer interactions, and computer security risk. The positions
will be available for two years (or possibly longer) with a flexible start
date, but preference will be given to those who can start immediately. The
criteria for the three positions follow, but we would be open to hiring
people with skills that cross the three research areas.

1) The candidate must have a PhD in Psychology, Cognitive Science,
Neuroscience or a related field. Preferred qualifications include an
excellent background in experimental design and cognitive psychology. The
following skills are highly desirable but not absolutely necessary: a
strong programming background (e.g., Matlab; Psych Toolbox), experience
with eye tracking and related measures, such as pupil dilation, experience
with psychophysiological measures, and experience with multivariate
statistics.

2) The candidate must have a PhD in Computer Science, Informatics,
Cognitive Science, Psychology, or Risk/Technical Communication or a related
field. Preferred qualifications include excellent programming skills, …
and innovative thinking and problem solving. The following skills are
highly desirable but not absolutely necessary:

3) The candidate must have a PhD in Risk Assessment, Policy Analysis,
Bioinformatics, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include
knowledge of risk assessment modeling techniques (especially cumulative
risk modeling), benefit cost analysis, bioinformatics tools, social science
analytical tools, a strong statistical modeling background, use of a
programmable statistics package (SAS, R, or stata preferred), social
networking analysis, and demonstrated modeling creativity and thinking.

Primary responsibilities for all three positions will include active
participation in research and scholarship, undergraduate student mentorship
and other research related duties as assigned.

Salary and benefits will conform to NIH postdoctoral rates. To apply,
please email a statement of research interests, CV, sample publications,
and a list of references to [email protected]. Review of applications
will continue until the position is filled. Indiana University is an
