Journal of Applied Ecology is the leading applied ecology journal that
publishes papers combining the highest standards of ecological science with
direct relevance to environmental management. The Journal’s mission is to drive
forward the field of applied ecology by providing a high-quality evidence base
for scientists, managers and policymakers. The Journal’s current ISI Impact
Factor is 4.740, ranking it 21st out of 136 ecology journals.

We are seeking an Editor to strengthen and complement the current editorial
team and to raise the Journal’s profile worldwide. The team is supported by an
international Associate Editorial Board and dedicated editorial office

increase the reputation and quality of the Journal, in addition to making
decisions on submitted manuscripts. Further details about the Journal and its
current editors can be found on the journal website
www.journalofappliedecology.org.

We particularly encourage applications from researchers with expertise in the
following areas: mammal ecology and conservation, aquatic ecology and
fisheries, invertebrates, climate change, ecosystem services, quantitative
techniques, or any other areas of the Journal's scope. Applications are welcome
from leading scientists from any country, and from those who could contribute
to the Journal's development in other topical and developing fields.
