*Freshwater Ecologist*: The Biology Department at SUNY Fredonia has a tenure track opening at the Assistant Professor level for a freshwater ecologist beginning in the Fall of 2014. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in freshwater ecology or a related field by 8/15/2014 and a strong commitment to teaching and research in a liberal arts environment. Postdoctoral research is expected and teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities include teaching core courses in Biology and Environmental Science, upper level courses in area of specialty and general education courses. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an active research program that involves undergraduate and graduate (M.S.) students and leads to grant applications and publication in peer-reviewed journals. *A review of applications will begin October 25, 2013 and continue until filled. *
