Hi Alec, I would recommend One World Science Editors (www.oneworldscienceeditors.com). They are headed by an ecologist and are pretty easy to work with. They do a great job and are faster than most other editors out there. Good luck! Rich

He’s edited papers for my colleagues and me (and is acknowledged for it) in following journals: *Am. Nat.,* *PLOS One *, *Ecography*, *Oikos*, and *Plant Ecology*. He’s also edited many other papers that have appeared in journals such as *Proceedings of the Royal Society B*, * J. of Ecology, Basic and Applied Ecology*, *Climate Research*, * Evolutionary Ecology*, *Forest Ecology and Management*, *Geobotanica*, *Grass and Forage Science*, *Hydrobiologia, J. of Biogeography,* and *Taxon*. He’s been a professional scientific editor for many years, edited books for the American Museum of Natural History, and taught scientific writing at the U. of Massachusetts. He has a B.A. in Biology from Cornell, a Master’s in Zoology from the U. of Massachusetts, and achieved Ph.D. candidacy in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the U. of Michigan (ABD). He works very closely with authors to make their manuscripts accurately and powerfully convey their ideas. You can contact him directly at [email protected]. Good luck with your manuscripts.
