Dear ecologists, I am conducting a survey of ecologists related to publishing practices and journal ratings. I plan to compare the opinion of ecologists about journal influence and quality to citation-based metrics.
I am at the ESA annual meeting in Minneapolis and now have a table setup near registration (just to the right if you're facing registration, next to the information booth). There are paper copies of the survey. If you're at ESA and have 5 minutes to spare between sessions, it would be great if you could fill out a survey. You can return them to the box on the table. Hope to meet some of you. I'll be here through Friday and will try to hang out by the table during breaks, so stop by and say hi.
