Peking University Center for Nature and Society and its partners invite graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and early-career professionals to take part in the Student Conference on Conservation Science which will be held in Beijing, China during November 1-5, 2013.
This will be a good opportunity to meet leading scientists and conservationists in China and learn about Chinese conservation, including the history, sociocultural context, policy framework, and the challenges and opportunities posed by the enormous economic growth of the country. Eight plenary speeches will be given by renowned conservationists from China and abroad. Highly competitive bursaries and travel awards are available.
