The Department of Biological Sciences at Old Dominion University invites
applications for a tenure-track Vertebrate Ecologist / Evolutionary
Biologist at the assistant professor level. Applicants with strong
quantitative skills and expertise in large marine vertebrates or
terrestrial plant-animal interactions are desired. The anticipated start
date is July 25, 2014.

Candidates must demonstrate the potential to establish a high-quality,
funded research program and excellence in teaching. Minimum requirements
for this position include a Ph.D. in biology (or closely related
discipline), postdoctoral experience and strong communication skills. The
Department offers competitive salaries and start-up packages.
