The School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences at Auburn University is seeking a PhD candidate to study ecophysiological traits of longleaf pine to better understand the potential importance of assisted migration in restoration efforts and in light of climate change. The research will focus on new longleaf pine genetic trials located throughout the Southeast. The student will collaborate with researchers from the USDA Forest Service and N.C. State University. The position is available January 2014.
