Greyhound could be another viable option for getting there. Yes, it takes
longer
than flying, but if you can afford the time, it is much more environmentally
sustainable. I'm actually taking Greyhound from Boston to Rapid City, SD this
week
to start a new job with the National Park Service. It takes longer than flying,
but for
where I'm going, it's much cheaper, and I get to go through a bunch of cities
and
see a lot of the country that I otherwise wouldn't see. For instance, I get to
spend
several hours in Chicago, where I've never been, and I plan on getting out and
exploring the city for that period. Plus, I plan on getting a lot of reading,
work, and
movie watching done, and perhaps some sleep.
