Volunteer field assistant position available June 24 - August 21 near the town of Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. The project is a joint effort between Penn State University and The University of Alaska Anchorage to examine above- and belowground phenology and C cycle dynamics among dominant plant groups in response to warming. We are seeking a highly motivated, independent and skilled student to assist with daily CO2 flux measurements and concurrent ecosystem monitoring. Prior experience is not necessary, but familiarity with remote camp life is preferred. Transportation is provided from Albany, NY to Kangerlussuaq.
