Dear Colleagues

This email is to let you know about the recent launch of the new journal Conservation Physiology, published by the Society for Experimental Biology and Oxford University Press. We wish to emphasize that this is an excellent venue for publishing papers on plant biology, as well as the biology of animals and microorganisms, at the full range of scales -- from physiology, to ecology, to evolution, to ecosystem science. If work focuses on mechanisms, and has implications for the conservation of species or ecosystems, then it is a potentially excellent contribution to the journal.

The journal is permanently open access, and also free of author charges for at least the next two years. Here's a link to the inaugural paper, which expands the definition of Conservation Physiology to include a wide range of the research that we do, at all scales and across organismal and ecosystem boundaries. We welcome you to submit your papers to this exciting new journal and help pioneer new avenues in this field.
