Dear Ecologers, I am a PhD candidate in biology who is writing scientifically (biologically) accurate children's books, because I have been disappointed in the biological misconceptions included in young children's non-fiction books. Some of you may remember when I sent out a free e-book version of my first book, "Budding Biologist: Am I an insect?" Well, my second book is in its last stages and needs your help! We have put it on Facebook for a 5-day preview so that people can comment on the science, content, and anything else they would like to contribute towards improving the book before it goes to press. If you would like to participate by looking over the book and providing us feedback (either within the comments or through the anonymous survey linked in the book's description), you can really help us design the best level of fun and scientifically accurate children's books. We hope to educate the next generation about scientific concepts and spark an interest in biology.
