Dear Colleagues,
I have posted this query also to the Crust-L list, so my apologies for
cluttering some of your inboxes. We are trying to get some basic metabolic
rates of isopods under different salinities and are in need of a
respirometer. It seems to me this is the kind of stuff you can buy for a
lot of money, or make for a lot less (I may be wrong). Does anyone in the
list have suggestions on what to buy (i.e., oxygen electrode model) and how
to rig one of these that will be decent enough for research? The animals
are less than 2 centimeters. Suggestions are welcome.
Regards,
Edwin
