Researchers wishing to access the tropical rainforest canopy and that are in need of training can enroll in a course during the Winter session at the Institute for Tropical Ecology and Conservation (ITEC) on Isla Colon, Bocas del Toro, Panama. The course runs for three weeks and will introduce students to those techniques, skills, and equipment necessary for access.
