VISITING INSTRUCTOR IN BIOLOGY

technological university located on Florida's east coast, invites
applications for a visiting instructor in the Department of
Biological Sciences beginning January 2013. The position is available
for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. This
is primarily a teaching position, although there will be scope for research.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. and high-level skills in biostatistics
and experimental design. Postdoctoral and/or teaching experience are
preferred but not required. The successful candidate will be expected
to teach two lecture sections of a sophomore-level course in biometry
and freshman-level biology during the spring semester of 2013, and a
graduate-level course in statistics and experimental design and
freshman-level biology in the fall semester of 2013. In summer 2013,
the lecturer will assist with teaching programs in the Department.
S/he will conduct research throughout the year as time allows. Salary
will be commensurate with experience.
