Cardno ENTRIX is seeking an Ecological Modeler in our Knoxville, TN office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in the conceptual development of population models
Assist in the collation and analysis of data required by the modeling effort
Help code the models
Run various modeling scenarios
Help evaluate the performance of the models
Participate in the preparation of reports and
publications of the modeling efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
PhD in Ecology or related environmental science
One or more years of post-doctoral experience.
Demonstrated abilities to develop ecological
population models including proficiency in
higher-level programming languages (e.g., C++, fortran, visual basic, etc).
One or more publications in peer-reviewed technical journals.
Must be authorized to work in U.S. without company sponsorship
