Dear All,
With support from NSF, the International Network of Research on Coupled
Human and Natural Systems (CHANS-Net.org) is organizing three sessions at
the meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU) in San Francisco
(December 3-7, 2012):
B056: Resilience and Adaptation of Coupled Human and Natural Systems to
Global Change
H078: Socio-hydrology: Discovering Patterns in Coupled Human-Water
Resource Systems
H079: Water Resources Management and Policy in a Changing World
The abstract submission deadline is August 8. CHANS-Net welcomes
submissions of abstracts to these sessions. More information about these
sessions and abstract submissions is available at
http://chans-net.org/news/chans_agu_2012.
The sessions will draw active and leading investigators funded by NSF's
program in Coupled Natural and Human Systems (CNH), but other researchers,
students, and postdoctoral fellows are also welcome to participate.
In addition to presentations at these sessions and a workshop at the AGU
meeting, there will be other opportunities for interactions, which are
expected to result in multi-author publications.
Please share this with potentially interested individuals. Thanks.
Best regards,
