The Fenner School of Environment and Society, Australian National University will be hosting the The XIX International Conference of the Society for Human Ecology which is held jointly with the IV International Conference on Sustainability Science in Asia, February 5-8, 2013
The conference theme is Decisions that Work: Linking Sustainability, Environmental Responsibility and Human Well-being The conference will bring together a diverse group of educators, researchers and practitioners interested in interdisciplinary and ecological approaches to humanity’s relationship to the natural environment. The 2013 conference will focus on the co-benefits that actions to increase environmental sustainability have for the health and well-being of people. The conference is now accepting abstracts for organised sessions, individual papers and workshops. There is also a pre-conference workshop for students, designed for both local and online delegates.
