Hello All,
I wanted to inquire if anyone has any extra cells or extracted DNA
from a pure culture of methanogenic bacteria they would be willing to share.
I am a graduate student working on a project that involves PCR of the mrcA
gene from environmental samples and I need some DNA from a pure culture for
the positive control. I understand methanogens are very difficult to culture
and our lab doesn't have the necessary equipment. If anyone could help out
it would be greatly appreciated. Of course we would pay for any shipping.
Also I would be happy to make a trade or return the favor if at all possible.
