Molecular Ecology
Graduate Student wanted for MS thesis program in Biology at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Thesis topic involves molecular analysis of lizard tissues to determine parent-offspring relationships using DNA genotypes. Tissues are sent by collaborators studying reproductive success and mating systems of Galapagos lizards. Previous experience with DNA work is not necessary; student learns to apply molecular (DNA) laboratory techniques to behavioral questions. Student applies for a 9-mo Teaching Assistantship in the Department of Biological Sciences, Minnesota State University, Mankato MN 56001. Entry into program either August of 2012 or January of 2013.
