I want to call your attention to the undergraduate course offering of
Environmental Microbiology. This class will be taught at the Coe
College Wilderness Field Station on the edge of the Boundary Waters
Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCA) in northern Minnesota. Please find Field

The class will run from 16 July through 13 August. For 28 days, we
will explore the Bacteria and Archaea while paddling through the
BWCA, and learn about their role in the BWCA ecosystem while
addressing the application to global cycles. If you know of any
undergraduates that may be interested please pass on the word. Do not
