The Plant Population Ecology (PPE) section of the Ecological Society of America is advertising a secretary position for the 2012-14 term.
The responsibilities of this position are: - To send out bimonthly newsletters to the members of the PPE section with updates and news re. the section's activities. - To help the chair and vicechair organize the silent auction and PPE section booth that take place during the annual meeting of the ESA. - To post appropriate job offers for PPE members on the PPE site. - To post updates on the "Featured young plant population ecologist of the month" section on the PPE website (here for more info: http://www.esa.org/plantpop/ - To help the chair and vicechair with the student travel awards that are given out annually during the ESA meeting.
