Curry & Kerlinger are looking for a part time independent contractor with 
bird identification experience to conduct fatality surveys, beginning mid-
January, 2012. The project is located between Fairfield and Rio Vista in 
Solano County, CA. 

The surveys will require approximately 20 hours of field work per week, 
for a period of up to 3 years.  Contractor must be willing to work in 
various types of weather conditions walking in hilly terrain for ~14 
miles/week, while maintaining excellent concentration.
 
Use of personal field vehicle is required.  As an independent contractor, 
the individual can claim mileage from their office to the project site.  
Onsite mileage will be invoiced and compensated at the current federal 
rate.  

Housing is not provided therefore this contracted position would be best 
suited for someone that is already located in the area. Please note that 
the project is within commutable distance from UC Davis.
