Assistant Professorship in Quantitative Marine Biology Western Washington University
The Biology Department at Western Washington University, a regional comprehensive university located between Seattle and Vancouver B.C., invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position, beginning September 2012. We seek an individual committed to undergraduate and MS student education who will establish a vigorous research program that involves students. Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience in marine biology, with an emphasis on quantitative methods (e.g., modeling or bioinformatics), are required. Applicants must provide evidence of the potential to teach biostatistics, introductory physiology, and an upper-level quantitative course. Review begins 1/23/12.
