My name is Irina Rosca and I am a recent PhD graduate student in Marine Biology (Title of thesis: Feeding ecology of some benthic fish along the romanian coast of the Black Sea (Agigea - Eforie Nord area),at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University Iasi, Romania I wish to continue my studies and deepin my knowledge in a strong educational and research environment as a postdoctoral researcher From the scientfic point of view I have been engaged in several activities during my B.Sc and M.Sc program. These activities were related to marine and freshwater biodiversity and ecology and with the feeding ecology and selectivity of several species of benthic fish of the Black Sea (such as Neogobius melanostomus, Gobius niger, Trachinus draco, Mullus barbatus ponticus, Mesogobius batrachocephalus, Pegusa lascaris, Scorpaena porcus). I am familiar with and enjoying working in research groups, a fact provided by the relatively large number of colaborations I have interacted (in Romania and also in colaboration with universities from Switzerland and Spain), worked and published with. Some of the results habe been also presented at several national and international scientific confrences. I have a good understanding of routine field and of the lab work. Of my technical abilities I can mention good knowledge of PC and I am also familiar with statistical methods, having experience in working with SPSS 14, XLStat Pro and EcoSim.
