The Department of Biology at California State University Fresno invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in evolutionary developmental biology to begin August 2012. Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. and post-doctoral research experience is highly desired. Candidates whose research targets experimental approaches to evolutionary developmental biology, including but not limited to epigenetic processes, developmental constraints, and genetic regulation of ontogeny, are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an active, externally funded research program that includes mentoring undergraduate and Masters students. The successful applicant will contribute to the teaching mission of the department in the areas of developmental biology, evolution, and their area of specialization.
