Graduate Assistant
A Graduate Assistantship is available in the laboratory of Dr. Richard D. Stevens, Louisiana State University to study the morphological evolution, biogeography or community ecology of bats. The applicant would matriculate at the Ph.D. level. It is anticipated that the appointment would start in the fall semester of 2012. Ability to use GIS as well as independently perform a wide variety of univariate and multivariate statistical analyses, and design and implement statistical tests based on permutation, bootstrap and randomization is a plus. A strong desire and ability to learn these quickly is requisite.
