Graduate Assistant

A Graduate Assistantship is available in the laboratory of Dr. Richard
D. Stevens, Louisiana State University to study the morphological
evolution, biogeography or community ecology of bats. The applicant
would matriculate at the Ph.D. level. It is anticipated that the
appointment would start in the fall semester of 2012. Ability to use
GIS as well as independently perform a wide variety of univariate and
multivariate statistical analyses, and design and implement statistical
tests based on permutation, bootstrap and randomization is a plus. A
strong desire and ability to learn these quickly is requisite.
Interested persons should apply directly to the graduate program in
Biological Sciences at LSU and in addition send a vitae, GPA, GRE and
TOEFL scores as well as three letters of recommendation to: Dr. Richard
D. Stevens, 202 Life Sciences Bldg., Department of Biological Sciences,
