Dear ECOLOG, I've developed a theory that I would like to get feedback via the internet. I am well educated in science, but I don't have any institutional support or any real experience working the scientific community, so I don't especially have other sources of criticism.
The theory I developed carries principles of ecology to chemical and physical systems; I think it bears greatest similarity to the neutral theory of biodiversity and neutral theory of microevolution. Basically it is a theory of evolution by natural selection for molecules. The idea is fundamentally based on ecological systems, and it uses a simple mathematical model to describe the world as a self-perpetuating random iterated system along the lines of a fractal. The model includes predicts certain phenomena in physics and the resting masses of certain particles. The idea itself, though, is very ecology-based. It is about cyclic systems and how simple functions can become complicated networks that can be described by simple parameters. You can view or download the theory at: www.al-niqaf.com (al-niqaf.wordpress.com) It is called Chaotic Reduction Theory, and I wrote it first in Arabic. There is an English translation on the webpage as well. In the end, I would like to promote the theory on the internet. I don't really have a career in science - currently I'm working in a completely different industry - so I don't have much interest in publishing it in an academic journal. I am really excited by the possibilites of the internet, though, and I'd like to keep the theory free and open to all on the internet in case it is of use to anybody. Best wishes, Mansour Haddad
