I personally rank Stan Rowe at or near the top of the best ecologists I've ever 
read or traded email with. When he died, a gaping hole was left in the world. 
(I have broken my policy of avoiding personalities.) 

I don't know where Stan published the subject paper(s), but if Mosquin doesn't 
know, I don't know who would. Where did his papers end up?
