Society for Ecological Restoration - Northwest Chapter is launching a new publishing initiative, Restoration Highlights on our web www.sernw.org/ and Facebook pages. We are highly interested in your restoration based contributions in the following three categories:
• Restoration Updates • Student Offerings • Case Study Summaries One highlight from each category will be featured monthly (Updates and Student offerings) and quarterly (Case Studies). These highlights are provided free of charge as a service to our membership and the restoration community in the Northwest. Details about each category of submittal and criteria are on the SERNW website. SERNW Each submission will be reviewed for content and context relating to our mission. Each month (or quarter for Case Studies), previously un-posted submissions will be reprioritized with new submissions. If there are deficiencies in a submission we will return it with a few editorial comments for improving it toward resubmission. 1) Restoration Updates: Abstract of approximately 2-3 paragraphs that gives a brief overview of your project and its key findings or contributions. These may be current projects in process or finished works. 2) Student Offerings: Students are invited, via this separate category, to submit a brief abstract of their project as information sharing with the restoration community. These submissions may be finished works or projects in progress. 3) Case Study Summaries: These will be more detailed summary of a restoration project or method, up to 3 pages of pictures and text. These submissions should be finished projects. Detailed publication guidelines are found in https://www.ser.org/sernw/pdf/SERNW_Restoration_highlights_guidelines.pdf For submissions email Allison Warner allisivy_at_gmail.com
